Support for Google assistant

Well, right now there's no API and no developer toolkit. Google has released nothing at all and devs have to sign up to get any info at all...when it comes out.
If you're just looking at voice interaction, the same way that Amazon's Alexa (Echo, Pod) do, then integration may be difficult since Subsonic has a weak and non-standard (e.g., not using oauth2) security model.
So for now and the foreseeable future, there's nothing anybody can do.
