I actually tried some javascript coverflow implementations some months ago, but the performance was quite bad.

I have been playing around with a few coverflow like programs out there. This is the one that caught my eye as it ran very fast on my system and appears like it wouldn't be overly difficult to implement:

http://www.weberdesignlabs.com/blog/?p=11

It is all done in flash, and has flashvars for external settings that can be accessed from outside the flash through the webpage. Appears that it might be similar to how the jw media player your using works.

It's very good-looking and I've actually had a look at it before.

However, on my Thinkpad the example uses 80% CPU even if I dont' touch anything. Is it just me?
