Max/Min depth option for source directory

This option might already exist, but so far i havent been able to find it.

currently i added /my/mp3/collection/ as source, which contains daydirs
so when its displayed in the menu, i get a bunch of daydirs.
if such an option as minimum depth was there, i could get it to force showing a minium depth and get all the album names instead.

any suggestions if such an option is there already? if not, its a feature request.
