Any chance that adding the google api for chromecast audio directly into the server and app so that an option would be a simple selection in the app on mobile or web to send to a chromecast setup?

Chromecast audio gives you the ability to create a sonos type environment at a much better price point with upgrade options not just have what you have to the tune of $200 plus.

Hey Sindre how you been old friend? Been a while since I was on here since you've been just cruising with your great product and no need to poke the bear.

I've run this on linux first as tomcat for many years and then switched to the native linux package on current fedora and can say it's been rock solid stable last 3 to 4 yrs.

I think I started in 1.x or 2.x versions can't remember its been so long ago.
Steve :)

I have a web app (PWA, and yes it works and can chromecast from Android Chrome as well as desktop) that is using the new CAF 3 format (last I checked, the main Subsonic GUI is still using V2). I haven't specifically tried or tested it on Chromecast Audio, because, well, I don't have one. It *should* be compatible, but I just can't say yet; maybe there's something special I need to do to say it is Chromecast audio compliant.

(I also know there are still some minor bugs with my Chromecast event handling and figuring out that a song has ended - I'll be putting a little more effort into debugging that this weekend).

I plan to announce the 'beta' releases of it Sunday morning (US Eastern TZ).
