Feature request: Video

I don't know if it's been suggested before, or even if it's too difficult to implement, but I was wondering if Subsonic could be adapted to stream video too?

I have a relatively large collection of movies that I would like to stream over my network, and be able to view them in a browser, sort of like YouTube.

Is this a feasible request?

Thanks, Phil

Been doing quite a lot of digging, and I've managed to get an FLV video to play fullscreen.

Could somebody help me work out how to transcode from AVI to FLV?

I've found the following command, but it's useless on its own:

Code: Select all
ffmpeg -re -y -i %s -ar 44100 -f flv -

What do I need to put in the 'Convert from' 'Convert to' 'Step 1' etc boxes?

Wow helpful stuff there.

I've got all my AVI's playing now, but to get them to work I have to fullscreen it, stop it and pause it. What is causing this?

How did you get videos to work at all? I keep trying, but I'm not getting anything.
