sort album by song/artist/tracknumber

hello,

I am new to this please bear with me.

I am a paid user (albeit it's not a huge license fee) - it seems it's hard to get any answer from anybody here. is that true?

when logging into subsonic via the browser, I'd like to sort an album by song or artist or tracknumber - depending on what I am up to.

right now it seems to me, it is sorted by tracknumber, if available, or artist. and apparently there is now way to change this.

please help.

not with the main UI. those priorities are hard-coded. it might be possible for some apps to do it, but each would be different. I've never done much in the way of alternate sorting in SubFire except in the Playlist Editor, but even there, it only is available in playlists and the song queue currently playing, not albums/directories.

since the server cant distinguish/play identical titles even from different artits, once they dont have a tracknumber, this means i must change the title to title2. but now i cant sort the list accordingly. the amount of non-support of this whole thing is really astonishing.
