Just a thought...

It might be cool to have forward + back buttons when in album view so you can skip straight to the next album by an artist without having to go back up to the artist view.

Good idea, I'll consider that!
Maybe there should even be a list of other albums by the same artist.

That sounds even better

Although you then run the risk of the album display page getting cluttered...

Maybe a list of the other other albums below the current album details. Then they would be out of the way but still easily accessible.
