Year not showing up (not parsing DATE tag)

It appears as though it does not fill in a "Year" tag, but instead fills in a "Date" tag in the format of YYYY-MM-DD, or just YYYY if no full date is known. I've never seen another media player have trouble with that tag.
Support for this would be very handy. It's hard not knowing the order the albums came out when you have several from the same band.
For the record I found out about this app through the Android market. It's just about everything I've ever wanted in a remote media player app. Great job. I'll be happy to donate, especially if this gets added and the android streaming gets a bit more stable.
