Better viewing options for single-folder indexes...

OK, it's helps to first understand my folder structure. I have all my music in a folder: z:\Music\. There are also two sub folders in there: z:\Music\SA DJs and z:\Music\Various. Now, if I only add z:\music\ to my folder list, the left index makes it slightly nicer to view the two sub folders when I click them, and it displays the contents on the right. However, the remaining 1,000's of songs are on one monstrous list in the left index, in what is seemingly random order.
Now, if I add Z:\ to my folder list, then I can easily see Music on the left, and when clicked, it displays the contents on the right. This is a little more helpful only because it lists more info such as artist and album. However, it is still frustrating that there is no sorting options or really any other viewing capabilities when viewing contents of a folder... Is this in the workings, or have I completely missed something here...?
