First of all i love this system! I share my entire music collection and i also allow my close friends and family access to it. Sometimes i have 5-8 users playing at the same time with no problems. There are a few features i would like to accomodate multiple users.

Here goes:

- Change player settings for all players (global)
Mainly to disable pictures for all users
If a folder contain loads of files the pictures fill up a lagre portion of the frame and the actual files/folders is centered and starts half way down the frame.

- Download playlists og saved playlist
To simplify download of a user spesific list

- Interactivity with users
Let users report wrong/bad songs trough a internal message system
Let users request missing songs/albums trough a form.
This form could show up as a list for the admin where you can removed the when the music have been added.

- Log
Keep a longer log file (Mine just logs a day or so)

At least, I'll try to fix the layout problem. (The file/folder list is top-aligned in Opera, but not in Firefox and IE).

Yes, this would be a nice feature. Will be implemented.

Hm, yeah maybe it would be neat with some bulletin board functionality along the lines you describe. I'll keep it in mind.

Are you thinking about the log which is displayed in the web page, or the actual log file on disk (TOMCAT_HOME/logs/subsonic.log)? The latter keeps all log lines since Tomcat was restarted. If you refer to the web page, I could at least add an option to show more of the log. Maybe also an option not to display debug messages?

I was thinking about a "simple" form to add some text to a list for the admin. Maybe one list to report bad/wrong songs. It cold be a button next to the song called Report, this would bring up a form where the user cold fill in what the problem was and the form would know the path to the song and the username.

Another function could be a request for new album/artist/song form. This would populate a list that the admin could view and delete as the music is in place. This list could be viewable to all user.

By the way i figured out a way to disable images globaly..
I removed all the text in the "Cover art mask" box under settings.
This saves a lot of resources on my server, but i miss it a little bit.
No more images, but i would like ONE to show up under each album.
Maybe a image limit pr view would function better?

I had one folder with some 100 different artists and i loaded images for ever...

Yeah I got it, and will consider it. They are both good ideas, and likely candidates for new functionality in later releases.
