Hello,

One thing I do seem to do constantly in Subsonic when I am at work is start and stop songs, for this I have to click the play/pause button.

Could something be built in to Subsonc to allow a user defined key (say the space bar) to be used to start stop playback, and keys for next track etc.

If you choose to use an external player, say Winamp, then the functionality is at your feet I think Windows Media Player, Winamp, VLC and most other players have this functionality.

I understand what you are saying, but I love the built in simplicity of the JW player, so really need this to be built in to Subsonic.

I'm not after a super whizzy interface where I can map multiple keys, just a simple play/pause
