Shoutcast kinda streaming

Maybe it is nice make such a thing as Shoutcast.
That you're really streaming your music, and everyone can tune in like an radio broadcast ?

I have been playing around with Subsonic over the weekend.

Can you create an account and set it to use an external player. Have others over the net use their players as the external player, giving them the playlist/address? They shouldn't have to log in. You operate the playlist from your end.

I haven't tried it.
