Subsonic Forum

I am a real perfectionist when it comes to my music archive. I am not crazy about the idea of subsonic saving the files it downloads to the music directories. It would be neat if it could somehow save them to the folder of my choice.

Are you talking about the Album Art or files that users upload?

While subsonic actually does it like I prefer (writing the album art directly into the ID3 tag as well would be a great bonus, but I digress), it seems like a batch file running once a night could knock that out for you.

I thought it would be a reasonable for this option to be put into the settings menu, being able to set the directory and filename to where a downloaded (by subsonic) cover is saved to. unfortunately there doesnt even exist some code to modify in the jsp files to hack the option in, or at least I couldnt find it...when someone does, would he be so kind and let me know?
