I would like to have an RSS feed for "Latest Albums", so you can easily spot new albums on your subsonic site. Preferably configurable, how many albums are returned.

I would like to see it too... I have created RSS myself, but there is no easy way how to make RSS clickable. I would like to click on the new album and it will start to play on webclient automatically

Another +1... Some players have a recently added feature, and that would be great on Subsonic!
