API addition to support streaming of Podcasts

I was wondering if it would be possible to get an API addition for podcast streaming. I use ISub and Android and would love to use it to stream my podcasts as i drive to and from work.

A simple solution is to keep your podcasts within one of your music folders (as configured in Settings >Music Folders)

Hi Sindre,

I thought that this would be a workable solution as well, so I placed a /podcast directory inside my /flac music directory and it does not show up in the sidebar. I forced a reindex and it still does not show. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not thinking of it yet, have you got a suggestion?
