Let me open by saying thanks for one of the most polished products I've seen to date.
On to my issue/request: I am currently using the Linux distribution of the Subsonic server with an Android client (latest version of both, as far as I can tell). I have noticed that the Android App is sensitive to trailing spaces in the search box. For example, I will search for "Red Hot Chili Peppers" just fine, but a search for "Red Hot Chili Peppers " will return no results.
This is only really a problem when using Android's speech entry, which anticipates future words by following recognized text with a space. This space is also considered part of the speech recognition text block, which means that deleting the space after speech entry also deletes the text. Combined, this makes speech recognition an unusable method for entering search text.
Also note that this doesn't seem to happen when using the web UI's search capability.
Seems like a good thing to fix, and simple enough. Thanks again for the wonderful product. I'm definitely pushing it on my friends
