Firstly subsonic is a piece of absolute brilliance. I am truly in love and in awe

But I have a dream. I have two stereo's in my house and my dream is to have them blast the same music at the same time.

One is downstairs and is connected to a pc and thus I can use the web interface. The other is upstairs and I tend to plug my android phone into that one.

If they could play the same playlist at the same time I would be in heaven.

it could work as easy as:

I start playing something via android

I log on to the web interface and where it says what is now playing on the android you have a link to "listen to this player".

or things could be configured via the players settings

I would use this feature extensively

You could possibly do that by using a Shoutcast\Icecast server to run a local music stream...but even if you did that you'd run into some differences in the buffer sync. The way Subsonic works, I don't see this being a possibility.

this is similar to what i want.. the ability to send out a public stream / client / player.. where more than one person can be on the same stream. hopefully in a shoutcast compatible format so i could manage my broadcast though subsonic. minor syink differences don't matter much in this case.
