I love the program. It's a must have for me. Thank you Sindre!

» gapless playback
» ability to flag for follow up
» ability to rate
» jukebox support
» 'Now Playing' tab: batch mode support
» 'Now Playing' tab: long press drag and drop
» 'Now Playing' tab: keep current playlist when switching servers
» 'Now Playing' tab: larger album art to fill empty space (like pre v2.6)
» 'Now Playing' tab: add long press option to album art to 'show album' on
» 'Music Library' tab: show current path in header (like currently in subfolder1 > subfolder2)
» 'Search' tab: results interface is inconsistent with 'Music Library' tab (as mentioned by JoeW here: http://www.activeobjects.no/subsonic/forum/viewtopic.php?p=17829#17829)
» 'Home' tab: user stats: last XX songs played by user
» lockscreen: display song/art information (possible?)
» add optional setting: when you select a track from an folder, have it continue to play tracks in that folder automatically (idea from iSub description)
» visual: currently selected menu item (across the bottom) needs to be more noticable with color (instead of darker grey). Or move the whole menu to the hard 'menu' button. (like I seen in Sindre's video of a < v1.5 ?)
» visual: allow trackball to scroll down to the menu across the bottom. It may already but you cant tell which item is highlighted. Or move menu, see above.

» resolved: exit option (ADDED in v1.6)
» resolved: rework landscape mode (ADDED in v1.6.1)
» resolved: add long-press option 'show album' on playlist tab (ADDED in v1.9)
» resolved: font size adjustment, possibly 'standard' and 'small' options. (MODIFIED in v1.8.1)
» resolved: lyric support (ADDED in v2.2)

some version history:
» v1.6: added exit button
» v1.6.1: reworked landscape mode
» v1.7.4: voice search
» v1.8: added widget
» v1.8.1: improved user interface (font adjustment, search and refresh buttons look cleaner)
» v1.8.2: SSL added
» v1.8.4: faster image loading, bug fixes (faster cover art loading, use less memory, offline mode bug)
» v1.9: added long-click menus, shuffle play in offline mode
» v2.0: new 'wheat' theme, chage album art on SD card, show album art in offlice mode
» v2.1: fixed but with first track repeating on some phone models, added folder selection to artist list, improved artist caching
» v2.2: long-press song for lyrics, video support (feature coming soon)
» v2.3: hide music files and album art from other apps, respond to phone/headset/bluetooth media buttons
» v2.4: support native OGG streaming, request media button focus when connected to Bluetooth, bigfix: failed to start videos from search results
» v2.5: added French translation, new setting 'keep screen on' (may improve download speed), pause when disconnecting from Bluetooth headset, remember current song and position when app is restarted, persist playlist after shuffle
» v2.6: fancier player controls

if you use the back button, it should go back through the directory tree

like if Im in the player, press back button, it goes back to the folder I queued/played from.

It would be awesome if you could use the jukebox feature through the android app; I realize you can do this through the webpage, but the app is nice and clean whereas the webpage can get unwieldy.

Correct, I think it happens when I leave the program and come back. I can't remember the exact scenario right now :?: I'll update when I can reproduce the steps.

Jukebox remote control from the android app would be spectacular I've been trying to find something to do this reliably for a while now on my linux server/htpc and nothing has this option. I know i can do it from the web app, but browsing my library from there is a bit wonky. Controlling it from a native app would be a dream come true.

Alphabet listing & search albums

Android app - It would be nice to be able to have an alphabet listing so I don't have to scroll through all of my music to get to the albums that start with V. Also, it would be nice to be able to search artists and albums instead of or in addition to just songs.

+1 on Android App as remote. As a suggestion, on the home screen I would add:

[Select server]
[Select mode] (toggle between streaming and remote) <-------
[Shuffle play]
[Settings]

+1 on allow browsing by Album / Artist / Genre and not only folder structure
+1 on showing A-Z index before the actual index (good for HUGE collections: sometimes, the app claims "network error", then I retry and it gets the whole listing right; I'm guessing timeout). This should be an option and not the default behaviour, as it doesn't make sense on smaller collections.

Also: be able to reorder the playlist.

I've been looking for a solution for home audio which my wife (iPhone) and I (Android) can control with our phones. Yes, there is Squeezebox, DAAP and DLNA/UPnP, but nothing is as mature and well rounded in all platforms (server, iPhone, Android) as Subsonic. Will be donating soon!

I have video streaming working fairly well on the desktop. Any chance of having the Android app passing video to the flash player on my Android EVO 4G?

How about the option to, rather than either or. I really like the shuffle from the server library! :)

+1 : shuffle queued tracks should have always been there, but also "shuffle library" is cool

Still repeats first track on shuffle play from the home screen.

Shuffle from play list works now. First track repeats from playlist shuffle.
