Would streaming music from the webpage to an airport express on the network be possible?
I know there are a few programs around do that do this without Itunes.
Subsonic is by far the most used thing on my server, and this would make it even better.
Cheers for the great app.

I agree,
Airtunes is the sole and last reason I can not yet ditch iTunes.
But already,
Great app...

+1 for this feature. Although I guess it could be done via airfoil but it would be very nice if the server had a built in functionality
Already possible

Hi There,
This would be nice so I second the option. It would we nice to select the output, just as in i-tunes. I hate i-tunes because it keeps messing up my folder structure. Subsonic works more efficient on this part.
However when you have an i-Phone you can download z-subsonic. In this app you can select the output. It will find air-port. It's not 100% stable yet.
Have fun!

+1 for this idea, the Jukebox feature is excellent but this would take it a step farther. Heck as Airplay comes of age this could sent streamed video and audio to another source.

There is an app called airfoil (not free) , it let you stream any audio to your airport.
I use it on my macbook with subsonic, playing from my freenas server.
Works great.
Although a build in airport integration would be better and cheaper.

I use airfoil and it works fine with subsonic. It will basically stream audio from any application not just iTunes. It does rely on the apple bonjour service so I expect it would be tricky to support that natively in subsonic itself. Airfoil is worth the money IMO
