I haven't found a way to do this so I ask for the feature to be implemented.

Instead of adding music folders as a global setting, make it so we can add or deny specific folder access for different users.

For instance:

User1 - All folder access
User2 - Access to Music 1, Music 2, Music 6 and Music 9 folder. Deny access to all other folders
User 3 - Access to Music 2 folder only

Seconding this. Would love to have access controls for the defined "music folders" on a per-user basis. As I mention in another topic, being able to separate (for example) seasonal music from the standard music via the user of separate logins would be an excellent feature to have.

I agree with the previous posts. I would love to have the ability to define "music folders" on a per-user basis. Separating available folders / music via user logins would be a wonderful feature to have.

I agree that this would be a very useful feature.

While i agree that assigning permissions to specific folders per user is a great idea...

What about ALSO assigning UPLOAD folders?

This way you can have a specific music folder that each user can UPLOAD to, but perhaps still allow ALL users to LISTEN to ANY folder...
