When uploading large zip files, it would be nice to know how much has uploaded, the speed, and estimated time left.

Agreed! I actually looked at some AJAX library once which supported this, but it didn't work in Opera, as far as I remember. (I have a requirement that Subsonic should work on at least Opera, Firefox and IE).

I'll have another look one day. If anyone out there knows of a good tool for file upload, please let me know.
