HttpQ

After fighting to get Subsonic's Jukebox to play on another PC, I came across HttpQ, which is used in Ampache to play on other devices.
Whilst synchronised multicast playback in the jukebox would be the ideal solution, HttpQ could be easier to implement.

How hard would it be to implement HttpQ as a player?

I'm interested in this as well. Here is my situation.

I have a two computers that are good enough to run Winamp but not much else (very old). I have them connected to two different stereo systems. I currently use another piece of software with HTTPQ but I don't like how it functions (organizes the music poorly). I am testing Subsonic and like everything I see except there isn't the ability to remotely control other systems.

Here is how I have things setup. I have a Windows 2003 Server running Subsonic with the music files (network access) stored on a Media Center HTPC (RAID storage), all good to here. From any system within the house I want to be able to control the computer connected to the stereo systems (the jukeboxes).

Crossing my fingers for a solution.
