Possibility to update search index more frequently
Posted: Sat Nov 27, 2010 2:51 amPretty straightforward, really. As is, the highest frequency for updating the search index is once per day. As I've set up subsonic and a few items on my computer so I can automatically add music to my library and thus subsonic remotely, I tend to add an album or two every day, sometimes far more often. From time to time, I will add an album from an android phone or similar, and when I'm using the android app, it's a bit of a drag to have to open the subsonic page in the browser once download of the new album is complete, logging on, then updating the search index manually. I've not found a way to do this from the android app.
If it could be possible to set the search index to update every hour or so, even every 10 minutes, I would be very pleased. If there's any good reason why this is not a good solution, I'd be glad to hear it.
I tried to search for this, but I couldn't find a thread anywhere. If it already existed, feel free to thrash this thread.
