Option to Embed Cover Art into ID3 Tags

I love the feature to search the web for missing cover art and I know that i can do this outside of Subsonic with dozens of different apps. And this could just be me being anal but I would love to be able to simply embed the cover art into the ID3 tags of the songs rather than downloading the art as a file. Just my 2 cents.

i'd like this feature too, i use my library from different softwares so it would be better an embedded APIC tag rather than a picture file in the directory

I'd like this to be implemented too. Embedded cover art, more granular access control, and better separation/organization of video/music are the three things that jump out at me that would be great to have.
With iTunes Match working pretty well for my music collection, I'm not really interested in cloud services available from Subsonic. There are many cloud services popping up that it will (I imagine) be difficult for subsonic to compete with. But iTunes Match is lacking when it comes to sharing and video. I feel that if subsonic continues to develop as a great organization and sharing tool, I'll always have a place for it. I love subsonic so far, and will continue to recommend it as a media access and sharing tool.

I have to agree, at the moment I manually embed the art using iTunes, if subsonic could do this when it finds art that would be great, I don't personally like having image files in folders

Yes +1. Its such a hassle to do this manually. At the moment SS is my main player at home and abroad. And one of the limitations that nets me is that embedded art is handled like it is something unpractical. Which it isn't!
