Would be cool if the support to do a streaming photo slideshows (with some prefetching) was added (similar to what Gallery app on android does from picasa online). Here is my situation

I would like to do slideshows of all my photos stored in my Picasa collections at home (all those collections are not on Picasa Web Albums). Is there any other easier way to do that ?

AGREED! I must have a full streaming media server and it must be with Subsonic. I LOVE this program.

I agree, ability to do a photo slideshow is an important (and easy to add, compared to video) enhancement. This will keep subsonic competitive with other programs such as pogoplug that have this.
