Access Control?

Postby hermy65 » Thu Jan 06, 2011 3:42 am

Im a huge fan of Subsonic and have been using for quite some time. I do have a question for you guys though. Is it possible to do some sort of folder access control? I have given a couple people access to my server so they can listen to music. I would really like to add video to it as well but restrict those users from accessing it. Is this something that is possible or can be?

Yes. I agree, this would be a great feature. Right now I use 3 different servers to limit access. If I could control which folders a user had access to, it would let me consolidate everything into one server.

This would be a great feature. I am hoping that I would not need to install multiple servers to handle this. This hasn't stopped me from donating, but it would make subsonic even better.

The best way would probably be to stop asking irrelevant questions.
