I was thinking it would be nice if we could have the option in hiding certain folders from certain user.
or just being able to select the folders you want the user to be able to see.

i hope that makes scene.

i was thinking about this yesterday .
I have 2 hard drives , i want show all folders on hard drives except the hidden ones.

You can use a folder hiding software like "Free Hide Folder" which is password protected -

Title says How To Really Hide Files in Windows
so for a multiplatform server thats not very useful. Go you, windows users. In the meantime I'll bump every access control feature request I can find
