Do you thing it'd be possible to add airplay support to the android client, I know twonky and doubletwist have recently added it, and the encryption used recently broken.

I think it'd be awesome if we had the option to play on airplay speakers

This would be awesome. I thought I would be tied to iTunes if I ever wanted to use Airplay. It would probably also allow me to return the $600 Sonos system I just bought which doesn’t give me full access to my music collection like Subsonic does.

I would Donate €25! if the make a airplay button in Subsonic!
On my Ipad i use a App that can make all soundprograms Airplay.
With that i can use my Ipad-subsonic app to play my music Lib :D
Works great :!: but if they make subsonic airplay button i can use all PC/PADs/Phones to play my music.
Definitely worth €25 8)

No recent news about this feature in future subsonic versions (server or client) ?
I would also be interested !

This far, only a few android software support airplay, and you can't make them play another software music.
There is also an open-airplay development (with libraries for PHP and Java, for example) : http://code.google.com/p/open-airplay/

I found android softwares who can beam to dlna/airplay : "Twonky Beam" and "Twonky"
You can beam from the net (youtube, dailymotion...) and from your music (with twonky).
I don't like twonky, but with that I'm sure it's possible to implement this feature into subsonic for android.
