I've been using subsonic a while now, its a great app and it gets better all the time but I still have a few relatively minor issues:
1. Unable to resize the various window panes, especially the left-most pane (I fixed this myself by modifying the index html but every time I upgrade I have to redo the process and its a PITA)
2. Using multiple folders, i.e one for music, one for TV. In the left pane you can select which folder you want, or 'All folders'. If you select a folder in the left pane, say 'music' then clicking on 'Home' or 'Home->Random' should exclude all TV folders from the listing. It currently seems to ignore which folder is selected and when you click on Home or Random you get a mixture of music and tv (which is not ideal for me)
3. If you have no Welcome Message set (Settings->General->Welcome Message) then the layout should use the extra space that would have been taken up by the Welcome Message. At the moment it just leaves a big blank area there. This also goes for the Album view, all of the track names are cut off with '...' when there is plenty of room to display them.
4. It seems that some malformed or invalid album covers are able to hide or overlap other entries or even the album information itself. I've also had problems where a weird dimensioned image overlapped the 'Change' option in the Album view. This is quite painful, it would be good if the album image could be constrained, even when invalid.
5. I would like the ability to seamlessly rename a folder or file from within subsonic (with appropriate user permissions).
6. 'Home->Users' is a great little utility to see how users are utilizing your service, but I find the x-axis labels (usernames) are very hard to match up to the bars, especially with lots of users. Perhaps alternating label/bar colours could make it easier? or not putting the usernames on an angle?
All these are issues I've personally noted. For reference, subsonic is latest non-beta version and I generally use fully up to date Chrome to view it.
As I said these are all minor issues, overall subsonic is awesome and I love it and so does everyone else I show it off too
