[Android] Option to include downloaded songs in cached max.

Hi guys,

Lately I've been making (really long) precached playlists on the Subsonic Android app, and just a few minutes ago, I realized my SD card was nearly full. Now this is quite a feat - 16GB SD card, ~8GB free, 5GB max. Subsonic cache.

The problem seems to be that I wasn't just queuing the songs with precache set to unlimited songs, but rather pressing "save all" on the songs, so that they'd all download (I have Subsonic set to download only the next 5 songs).

Theoretically I should have 3GB of free space left, but I've got less than 1GB... this is because songs that are downloaded ("Save all") apparently don't count towards the 5GB limit. But I'd like them to... so that they also start getting deleted as soon as the cache is full.

I'd love to see an option for having the downloaded songs be included in the cache, or at least have them end up in a separate folder so that they can easily be deleted if they get out of hand.

As a workaround for now: How can I tell which songs were downloaded (permanently) and which ones are just cached? They all end up in the same /sdcard/subsonic/music directory...

I have to agree that the andoid client cache handling is unclear/wonky. It would be nice to have more info and more control. How much is being used, which kinds of download use what etc etc etc.

There is also the issue of how downsampled files (if you choose a lower sample rate while using mobile data) hang around and won't be replaced by full sample rate files when connected to wifi.

The orange starred files have the extension .complete.mp3 while the green "download to phone" ones are just .mp3.
