Hi, i'm user of this great program for a long time, but never use it so much.
Now i'm using it all the days (i'm already donate) and i miss CUE support, i have almost all my music in flac and so much of the cd's are in one file with a cuesheet, and i can't change songs cose subsonic not work with cues, and get the file like one song.
Thankx for this great app, and for left the use only making a little donation.
Tnankx again!!!

yes I would like that as well.
For now, I have to split the cd image into mp3 songs. I think it is very tricky to implement this feature. subsonic has to read the cue file, and break down the cd image into different ape or mp3 files and save them somewhere on the server so that you can play each track individually.

I really want cue sheet support which will be great feature for audiophiles or people who want to enjoy lossless music formats(like flac/ape/wv) without splitting out to individual tracks.
Cue sheet is not just a format to play music. It's very valuable because it contains while information to copy same CD, so people who want preserve their CD as a copy for insurance in case of any damage of CD.
If PC-Fi is getting popular than now, cue sheet will be more important, and if Subsonic supports it, this application will be even more greater, there will be no competitors on this scene. (Subsonic is definitely better than MPD streaming)

I agree, it's so much more convenient to store one data file and one metadata file for albums.
It's a complete arse to have to split all my reference files, essentially creating duplicate storage just so they can be played (track by track) in subsonic. Other players do it - you don't have to split and store the files. The whole point of cue files is that is referencing position for tracks.

Absolutely cuesheet support. My collection is 80% cuesheet/flac images and I hate transcoding and keeping redundant music in several formats.

I have 100% of my music as flac + cue for all the above reasons.
I would love to see this as well!
Thanks,
Chris

I's seems that the subsonic developer don't like cue sheets, or not want to waste time implementing this.
I don't understand it cose is the best way to preserve music, but almost he can write something for us that NEEDS this feature.
Waiting for an answer from Tue Aug 09, 2011 3:53 pm, i think he already have enought time.
Thankx

Licensing Subsonic gets you access to certain additional features, like a vanity domain name, no ads, and access to the mobile (REST) api.
Nowhere anywhere did it say that you were entitled to have your requested features included in the software. You have all the right in the world to ASK for something, but your tone suggests that you feel you are DESERVING of something.
I'm sorry to vent... I just get very grumpy when people think that purchasing a piece of software entitles them to whatever they want from its developer (and remember, that is singular... there is not a whole crew of people working on Subsonic). Try asking Microsoft to add a feature to Word; you have a much better chance here.
My $.02,
Glenn

Another +1 for cue sheet support.
For now I'll split mp3 tracks.

+1 from me too.
I really appreciate if developer can add this.
I have lots of albums with APE+CUE and FLAC+CUE so this would help me a lot.

This feature is also important to me. I have my entire CD collection ripped as one flac file with a corresponding cue sheet. I already use subsonic to stream each CD as one big file, but the ability to access individual tracks would make subsonic the perfect no-compromise solution for bringing my album collection with me wherever I go. Thanks.
EDIT: For anyone else looking for a media streamer that supports cue sheets, check out the iPeng app (at least for iPhone, I don't know if there's an Android version). It uses the Logitech Media Server software (free) to catalog your library, supports cue sheets, and can be set up to stream to your phone and use it as a player. It lack Subsonic's caching feature. But if you're consistently within range of a good 3G/4G connection or wifi, it works well.

Hopefully this feature will be implemented. My current workaround is to manually splitting those tracks using CUEtools.
