Android app: send to bluetooth

Would it be possible to stream the output of Subsonic directly to bluetooth?
I have the bluetooth system working at my car, and I would not like to have any additional wires there now when I've gotten rid of them.
So:

When streaming music, the output shoud be possible to redirect through bluetooth to the receiver.
This would make the system more flexible and usable.

It already does work with bluetooth as long as the device supports a2dp. I have been using the subsonic app in my car and on my bluetooth headphones.
