SS database to mysql

mmh... i dunno if this was said before or not ...
but is there any chance to get rid of the SS own db and put it into mysql ?
there is a mod for user registration .. but .. how about to settle totally on mysql ?
i guess this could make things easier to develop . in case the stuff abaout user levels and user accessmanagement ...


or is there any workaround to switch from HSQL to MySQL ?

hmmm! while you are busy re-writing the application in php perhaps you could implement that as well :P

Forget mysql. Please port db to /dev/null. /dev/null has the kick-ass benchmarks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I too would love to get the db into an industry standard MySQL. Guess we're gonna be a long time waiting though!

what about a clustered MS SQL server? can we port to that too? need redundancy in my Deebeez
