Request: GPU Acceleration

GPU accelerated transcoding would take this app to the next level.
Running this on a AMD e-350 18 watt set up and being able to stream HD videos would be amazing.

Its on the todo list, the issue isnt really subsonic its ffmpeg not many transcoders that fit the bill support gpu acceleration.

+1 to this... running an Atom/Ion setup and everything works wonderfully except for HD streaming. It lags on the actual machine in VLC, but through XBMC it plays perfectly thanks to GPU acceleration, so I'm sure it could stream fine if the ION was utilized.
