I'm sorry if this has already been suggested. I searched for it but to no avail.
I would like it if you could give the artist or album folder a nickname in the event that there are special characters that you wouldn't want in your file system.
Examples:
zoviet_france should be :zoviet*france:
Ted Leo_Pharmacists should be Ted Leo/Pharmacists
V-Vm should be V/Vm
x_k should be x|k
Etc.

A way to have the proper name displayed as the artist without having to actually give the folder that name would be lovely.

I just realised that I had thought of a possible way to do this but I hadn't posted it for some reason.

Subsonic could read a folder.txt file in each directory and it will use the first line from that file for the displayed name of the folder. If it is not present, it just displays it as it does now.
