Do not override the subsonic.log file on server restart

I generally restart my subsonic server a couple times a month either due to updates or other things.

Anyways, I noticed that the server restarts the log file instead of appending to it.

Is there any way we could have a folder that just creates a log for each day of events, or something similar to that? Would be nice to keep a log of who downloads what (to poke fun at my cousins for their taste of music. :D )

Like a rotating log file? That would be cool!

Yes, exactly like that.

It might build some extra files, however, if they are stored in a log folder, this should alleviate any issues that that might have cluttering up the original subsonic program folder.

+1 for that and if we had daily logs they could be handled in a similar way to podcasts
eg keep so many than delete via an admin only setting.
