Stream Live TV from the Mediaportal TV Server

Hi Subsonic
The subject says it all.
I have a media server with mediaportal tv server installed. On the same server I have of cause Subsonic. It could be nice to have and straight forward to add this feature to Subsonic...
It could be an good idea to look at the aMPDroid for ideas and this: viewtopic.php?t=5458

I hope it will be a reality soon.

I have just searched for a solution and I think it's very possible to use the MPExtended plugin (http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDI ... MPExtended) for the Mediaportal TV Server, to stream live tv and actually all other content from the mediaserver ex. the EPG, covers for the movies and series etc...
It's pretty much straight forward to use this plugin and to use it in Subsonic...it only takes time to implement it. Best of all Mediaportal is free and the tv server part is EASY to setup.
