Multi-disc sorting with FLAC

Postby RobbieG » Sun Feb 12, 2012 11:51 pm

I have multi-disc albums in a single folder with tracks named as:
Code: Select all
%discnumber%.%tracknumber% %trackname%

This seems to sort correctly for mp3 albums. However, with FLAC albums, it does not seem to recognize disc number, and it sorts like this:
Code: Select all
1.01
2.01
3.01
1.02
2.02
3.03
etc...

Any chance this could be fixed?

Thanks!

Have you checked the tags in the subsonic web UI for the flac album?

I do not see a disc number tag section for mp3s or flac files in the subsonic web UI. However, they are set appropriately when using mp3tag

Ah yes it seems to not be there, worth a try but if it's in the file tag then it should order the same for both
