This is a low priority request but can the functionality be added to enable Beats support on HTC phones? It looks like Poweramp was just updated to support it so 3rd party players should be able to turn it on.
Thanks,
Matt

By changing the sound from that which was recorded, obviously. Beats is just a glorified equalizer, probably best used to offset failings in the Beats headphones. Just get some decent headphones and avoid the equalization if you want good sound. Unless you do want sound defects, like turning up the thumping bass to try and blow the windows out of your car and impress the kiddies, that is.

I would love to see this supported in the next android release. Currently I am running an ICS port on my android and love subsonic. I can only get one DSP working, but I love the AwesomeBEATS generic port. Problem is it doesn't seem to work with Subsonic, but works great with other audio players.
