dual audio for videos?

Just curious - I've got multiple audio tracks on some of my videos and was wondering if there would be a way to make that an option for the video I'm playing through subsonic. It would be awesome if that were possible.

Or does anyone know how to do this already?

Thanks! I love subsonic! It's awesome!

http://howto-pages.org/ffmpeg/#map
There you go, it's easy.
Just give ffmpeg the right audio stream with e.g. -map 0:2, would use the second audiotrack if there is one, otherwise it just errors.
But the hard part is to make a surface for this for subsonic. You will have to implement something that checks how many tracks are on the video and a button or something for choosing.
Then give the audio track a variable for the ffmpeg like "-map %a".
Tell me if it worked, I am too busy to do it.
I already requested this feature and I think it will be implemented in the next version...

that's awesome. It'd be great if he implemented it in the next go around. If he does, i'll donate again :P

I'm afraid that may be beyond my technical expertise. I'd rather not mess things up, because it works at the moment XD

Thanks for that resource, though.. I"ll take a closer look at it when I get the chance to really figure out what i'm doing with it.
