Subsonic Forum

Hi,

I've discovered Subsonic a few weeks ago, and it's so fantastic !
I've bought iSub and really thinks to donate for this really great subsonic (yes it goes much over the sound!) software.
So, before my mind flew somewhere else, I was wondering if something like preselect cached songs could be done.
I mean, when connected to Subsonic web interface, selecting songs to be cached once the mobile player is connected to wifi.
I hope I'm clear enought, else, I can make a little drawing (not very sure this can help)

PS: And at last, but not least, it would be great if we can get kind of permalink for a song/dir and be very glad to help, even if I don't touch a java thing...

PS2: Even a greater thing, I've don't checked if it's already been evocated, but it would be ****in great if we can connect each other two Subsonic servers, imagine possibilities

I was just making a list of my own requests for subsonic next revs. and I totaly agree with elhijo.
It would be dope to be able to mark some albums, and let them cache all alone without having to bother about it.

Hehehe i made my donation too, and ask for cue sheet implementation around seven months and don't recieve an answer, seems subsonic is abandoned or any like that, cose i'm looking for a "official" answer for stuff and can't see any in months/years

Attention: Donating does not guarantee that your wishes will come true. Donating is contributing to what has been done already, without expecting something in return.

Subsonic is not dead! It takes a lot of time and effort to introduce new features, and Sindre has other things he has to take care of. Subsonic is not his full-time job (as far as I'm aware) and some of the new features he is introducing with 4.7 require a lot of work and restructuring.

Donating should demonstrate your appreciation of his work, not your expectations for the future.
