Subsonic Forum

I am newbie . So please pardon if i write something wrong . I wanted a solution so that i can search on Mp3 Titles in the Mp3 Tag. However i see that Subsonic didnt do that. On reading more, i realized that it assumes the folder structure to be in a specific format ARTIST-> ALBUM-> TITLE.
I am a java developer and i know that its not a big task to get lucenue have indexes like on MP3 Tags. The MP3 tag reading open source api JAudioTagger which works pretty well.
SO its a matter of reading this info so that lucene is build with Tags info as well and now we have this functionality.
I would like to know from the developer , if this functionality will be released in future. if not, i will not buy subsonic and its clients.

Having an 'advanced search' feature has been requested tons of times. Since people create new threads instead of searching the forum, I feel forced to copy and paste the same reply in a handful of threads to reach people subscribing to the topic.

I've just added an 'advanced search' interface to my Subsonic mod, see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9777&p=50566#p50566.

It allows for combining some twenty different criteria when searching for tracks, browsing all results, and adding all of them for playback. The mod is documented at http://dilerium.se/musiccabinet/.
