you can embedd a html5 interface by yourself
for eyample MiniSub by tsquillario viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7553
or Subtunes http://code.google.com/p/subtunes/

just copy the files to .../Subsonic/jetty/version number/webapp/ (create a new folder there and copy the files into it)
log in to Subsonic with the "remember me" box checked
navigate to http://server:port/created folder (e.g. http://192.168.0.1:4040/MiniSub)
Subsonic Package for Synology DiskStations http://eg-blog.de
