Love this app!
Here are some features I would like to see:
1. Private messaging system to message a specific user rather than shout it out in a chat box for all to see.
2. A place to see who is logged on. (not just who is streaming)
3. A recent comment section to see other people's feedback.

   He has implemented AJAX chat into his theme which does what you require (+more)
