the folder view in the Web interface shows more or less the same that can be seen in Windows Explorer, for example. It displays folders and files. The individual music files in the right windows seem to be displayed based on tags, thats nice.

Wouldnt it make sense to abandon the folder view and display based on (configurable) tags? So that you can drill down the collection based on tags?

I'm sorry to say I currently don't have any plans for that. The good things about a folder-based approach is two-fold: Firstly, many (most?) people don't have very good tag quality. Secondly, any changes (adding/changing/removing music) is immediately reflected.

Ideally, the user should be able to choose whether tag or folder structure should be used, but that's not a prioritized task right now.
