Seems to get started really slow. Probably related to the not streaming with ssl problem.
Dragging songs around doesn't put it where you dragged (at least while sorted)

Nice to haves:

Lyrics
Multiple column sorting with it keeping your preferences. IE: Really want to sort by disc, then by track. Either or isn't really correct.
Completely separate now playing list from playlist tab.

A coworker of mine has complained about the layout too. He wants me to make it look more like the Spotify client for Windows. I am not sure what exactly I want it to look like. I am not a big fan of how I implemented the artists either. I will figure something out.

Drag and drop and sorting are currently broken. I have ported the StreamProxy code to C# and it is working great for streaming over SSL. It is a shame the C# media player cannot do it natively. Oh well, the same solution works twice!

Have you had a chance to go over the Issues I created on GitHub? I am pretty sure most of your issues are covered by them. A majority of them I have targeted for the 1.1 milestone.

New version uploaded to a Dropbox folder. I'll store new builds there for the time being. This latest build provides fixes for Madsonic (and possibly other non-Subsonic servers), streaming over SSL, adds rating support and other bug fixes and improvements. This is very much a work in progress, as I add new features/fixes and the build seems stable enough, I'll upload a new version until I hit my 1.1 milestone.

Just got around to updating. Things definitely seem to be a bit smoother, but it still seems to have to have to download the entire song before it starts playing. Is there a setting I have to enable to do streaming?

There are some confusing settings around disk caching that I haven't modified or removed yet. As long as the disk cache setting is enabled it should work. I am not sure what the buffer size is for MediaElement or if it is configurable. Are you playing these on a fast connection? I have only been testing on 65 Mbps connection so the playback has been beginning nearly instantly once the download starts.

After first installation, I wasn't sure how to put the Server address in, such as using http, port forwards etc. Would be nice to include some time of Help or over hover note. Once connected I was able to see Artists from # - Z, question, i have multiple drives/folders on my subsonic. For example, D: goes to one path, E: to another, and so on. The current layout #-Z wouldn't work nice for me due to the amount of music and folders I have. It would be nice if I can choose a folder structure hierarchy.
I like the star playlist feature, it shows all my stared items etc. Be nice if there was some type of themes or color changes.
I like the software and may use this more, however the #-Z does make it hard to find what i want to play.
Hope to test new features when they come out.

Is UltraSonic for Windows still under active development?

UltraSonic was by far my favorite SubSonic app for Android because of the perfect implementation of gapless playback. The lack of a similar app on iPhone has been my biggest regret since making the switch.

I'm hopeful the Windows client will continue to be refined, because I found the earlier version somewhat buggy as well as lacking the gapless playback of the Android app.

I hope the developer will keep us posted about his plans.
