I also just noticed on one album the songs were alphabetical instead of in track # order. I verified on the hard drive that the songs were tagged correctly with track numbers. When I clicked on Edit Tags within subsonic nothing was populated for these songs. I clicked suggest and it filled everything in correctly (Except the track numbers). I manually added the track numbers and now the track's display in the proper order. I have only seen it on one album so far and that was an easy fix for one album, it would not be an easy fix if I find additional albums with this error.

Thanks

Everything looks good except the playlists. The auto importing worked during the upgrade, with the following results:
1. Playlist will show to have 102 songs, imported 15
2. Manual import of the same 102 song playlist did not change the result. SS will validate the list has 102 songs, but show only 15. No log entries saying the paths are wrong.
3. Some playlists are still empty, even though showing x number of songs

Thanks for putting in the Show All playlists, is there a way to collapse it after expanding.

Thanks for all the hard work, SS is still my favorite music/vid app, no contest!

Another issue I have is that I have seemed to have lost my top rated albums :(
Edit: Ignore the above - user error as I took the opportunity to change the path names to UNC which broke the links in the db
After rescanning SS is still only reporting about 30% of the number of artists that 4.6 reported

With regard to the sorting

Image

This with sort albums by year unselected
The 2 albums that are out of sequence are both double cd albums.
Another thing that is also different from 4.6 is that those albums are not listed in the album art display
With 4.6 if you put a cover.jpg in the root folder of the album it would display.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

+1 Yes this would be very handy. Better still would be to be able to re-order playlists and/or create playlist folders! :D

I have a question regarding the new MiniSub included with this release. When I first run the MiniSub player and save my credentials, are they being held by the server application on my desktop, or stored within my browser?

I'm using --context-path in my subsonic args and minisub doesn't work from clicking the link. (it looks like it doesn't honor the --context-path). The link in 'More' goes to hostname/mini/index.html whereas it should honor the context path and go to hostname/subsonic/mini/index.html

I just encountered the same problem, and before I try Castius' solution, I wanted to know if this was a known problem, and if there's another way to solve it. Also, if this is a known problem, will there be a fix in a stable version?

Thanks again for a great service and all. =)

I agree. Upgraded to this version and a bug I was having where some playlists wouldn't import was fixed so much thanks for that. The ability to sort the playlists, even alphabetically would be great!

Hello Sindre,

I see in the change log you have Added support for HTTP Live Streaming.

Does this mean that Subsonic will now stream to Apple devices without using the JWPlayer (as Apple has built in HLS support) using just the web interface.

Or is it something else?

Thanks,
Alan.
