pha, you should check this into sourceforge so I can check it out and put some work into it. ;)

I like it a lot and think it's a great start. I'd like to do some work on the Music Library tab if that's ok. Thanks again though for this wonderful app. It's become my subsonic client of choice.

Wow. This is really awesome. Good work. Does it let you download full zipped albums yet? I can't figure out how to. If not, I would like to request that.

2147 error

Postby williamsdb » Sat Feb 06, 2010 4:09 pm

Thanks for the great app.

Just to save others some potential heartache. If like me you put the server address in and got an 2147 error you must include the http:// before the address/domain.

Hope that helps someone.

Hi, I am still unable to use this unfortunately due to the SSL warnings that pop up for every album that is loading - that's a lot of clicks to listen to one track sadly. :( Do you think there's a way for you to incorporate acceptance of SSL certificates so that it becomes more usable?

Great development, thank you! :)

Can you be more specific? I can right click on any track and download it but nowhere can I right click on any album. In Music Library I can't right click on the albums in the left panel. If I left click on an album and bring up the songs of that album I can't click anywhere on the right side to download the full album. Does anyone else have this problem?

The app is set up for the \artists\albums\ directory structure, sounds like your directory structure is \albums\

The left panel currently doesn't have the right-click enabled, but that is something I can look into adding.

Can you specify which OS is running on the system you have subair installed?

Yes, this is Windows 7 Professional x64. The certificate is generated using the keytool from Sun's Java package.

I have tried installing the certificate into Internet Explorer b/c it seemed to be the same "backend" acting up as when I used IE to visit my subsonic page. Seems like the browser actually stops checking for the certificate's authenticity once I have told it to 'ignore' the warning once. Sub Air on the other hand keeps checking the certificate for every album listed, which might be why I have to clickety-click a neverending amount of warnings.

Hope that helped a bit.

ff

SubAir: I haven't tried it at home yet, but it's working beautifully on my work computer. Being able to click & drag to reorder a playlist is functionality I wish the web interface had (though I understand why it doesn't have it). I would like to see some kind of advanced browsing interface that mimics Subsonic's web interface, as crawling through everything in one list that isn't broken up into the categories I've specified is very, very tedious. Search isn't robust enough for me either, so I'm still building the general playlist in the web interface, then fine-tuning it in SubAir. Still, this is great and a wonderful alternative to keeping a web tab open. Keep going!

Finally got this working (after upgrading from 3.7). I was wondering if anyone had this problem. I have songs organized in Folder A (so there are songs in this folder), but then I have more folders inside Folder A, like Folder A\Folder B, and these folders also have songs. So I noticed that SubAir will only display songs if there are no directories inside, otherwise it will just list the directories. Just wondering if this is part of its design.

I'm sorry I made it public  this is like a best-of folder, so it's not organized by any conventional means. But thanks! Looking forward to the update!

This is awesome...
I came here looking for a simple web-based pop out player and found this!

Great stuff!

Yea, my folders are all \artist - album\. I would love to see downloading of full albums from the left panel, or someway for me to download full albums on the right.
