Firefox v/8 freeze when i play movies and flac files..

Same problem here.
Chrome en IE9 are working fine, but Firefox (on Ubuntu 10.4, 10.10 and Windows 7) have a problem with FLAC and video (avi,, mov, wmv). mp4 Video works "a little" With video the adobe pluginn craches and with flac firefox comes to a "standstill". On very fast computers the flac begins but stops after a few seconds.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

I also noticed this same issue. Firefox doesn't play FLAC files, but they work with my android phone and IE. It's the same issue with version 4.5 so I think the problem came with the firefox...

installed on ubuntu 11.10, worked... not like a charmed.

there's a problem on filenames.
when you've got filenames with pipes | (directory or names), it doesn't stream on my android device (but work on the website)

there also still missing an ogg preset.. as it's native on android device, it's sad that we still have to add it manually (mp3 is good but use to much of my 3G data plan)

did some further test at work where the proxy force me to listen music with an external player.

yesterday on 4.5, my conf was to transcode to ogg, and listen on an external player or an external player with playlist.

on 4.6 beta2 i used :
ogg audio | ogg oga aac m4a flac wav wma ape mpc shn | ogg | ffmpeg -i %s -f wav - | oggenc -b %b -o - -

then selected my player, unchecked "mp3 audio", and checked "ogg audio"

when playing a song (which don't have the | pblm on filenames), winamp connect and... it's playing an MP3 stream !
on "external player with playlist" it's just don't work at all.. (winamp don't connect)

Cant seem to get the Google Plus Sharing to Work, it says it does, but a few seconds later turns red and fails....anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
