Folk here might be interested to know that there's now an easy to use Subsonic setup option for Raspberry Pi, as part of the wonderful DietPi project.
That's right, a fully stripped back Raspbian HF install with a simple menu install for Subsonic (running on Oracle Java) and support for the new spread of I2S soundcard/DACs that are available for the Pi.
Download the image file here: http://fuzon.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9#p9 and enjoy!
Edit: DietPi have launched their new website, easy on the eye and lots of info about a great distro for running Subsonic on your Pi with: http://dietpi.net/
